A multi-sensor detector from GCS

Switzerland-based landmine disposal company Global Clearance Solutions unveils its new Multi-sensor Detection System at IDEX 2023.

The GCS-MDS is a readily deployable uncrewed ground vehicle (UGV) that can safely and efficiently facilitate the detection and avoidance of ‘explosive threats.’ A human operator can remotely view images of improvised explosive devices in an intuitive format with the aid of machine learning-governed software. Sensors are also equipped to the UGV which are attuned to urban environments, thereby enabling increased flexibility and effectiveness.
