Kratos to continue maturation efforts for XQ-58A UAV

United States-based technology company Kratos Defense & Security Solutions announces it will continue in its efforts to improve the XQ-58A Valkyrie tactical uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV). Continuous experimentation by Kratos is designed to bring the XQ-58A in line with Department of Defense (DoD) operational requirements.

Kratos Unmanned Systems Division president Steve Fendley expects momentum for ‘high-performance jet drones’ to persist in 2023. True to this expectation, the UAV has already completed separate series of flights by both the US Air Force and Kratos in July 2022. The most recent test flight for a production XQ-58A came in November 2022.
