Boeing, Shield AI partner to explore solutions for defence needs

United States-based companies Boeing and Shield AI sign a Memorandum of Understanding (Mou) to coordinate support for existing and future defense programs. Signed at the AFA Warfare Symposium, this strategic partnership enables the companies to explore pathways for integrating artificial intelligence and autonomous capabilities.

Boeing and Shield AI have specialties in autonomous air dominance and AI piloting capabilities, respectively. Representatives spoke of combining these technologies to ‘redefine what large aircraft, crewed or uncrewed, could do.’
