EDGE unveils transport rotary wing UAS at IDEX 2023

The UAE-based EDGE conglomerate unveils its new transport rotary wing uncrewed aerial system (UAS) - the Air Trucker - at IDEX 2023. Along with several other unveilings, these systems are designed and manufactured by Abu Dhabi Autonomous Systems Investments (ADASI), EDGE’s UAS specialist.

The Air Trucker bears some resemblance to the CH-47 Chinook helicopter, but with an entirely different architecture. It is designed for logistics support and can improve the delivery of critical payloads in short times under tense scenarios without risking human lives. Transfer flights are assumed to be conducted autonomously, while take-off and landing are done remotely.
