General Atomics showcases SkyGuardian UAV with Emirati weapons

United States-based General Atomics Aeronautical Systems unveils its MQ-9B SkyGuardian uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) at IDEX 2023 in Abu Dhabi.

The UAV, capable of carrying multiple different kinds of payloads, may be a potential item of interest for the United Arab Emirates government. The MQ-9B on display notably carried a Halcon missile along with other types of Emirati weapons, no doubt intended to stir the interest of the UAE-based EDGE conglomerate.
