Faced with 'diabolical' drones, is artificial intelligence the key for Ukraine?

The use of drones has been a popular tactic for Russia following its invasion of Ukraine. With Iran considering producing drones in Russia, it will only be harder for Ukrainian air defense to keep up.

Novel solutions are being proposed to bolster Ukraine’s Counter Uncrewed Aerial Systems (C-UAS) capabilities, such as disrupting the adversary’s GPS signal, and using lasers and artificial intelligence. Notably, 'Ukraine's Minister of Digital Transformation recently called autonomous drones - which attack based on a script or command without human intervention - a ‘logical and inevitable next step.’
