Multi-platform demonstration showcased interoperability among F-35, MQ-4C Triton, E-2D Advanced Hawkeye and naval ships
United States-based defense company Northrop Grumman demonstrates its gateway technology’s ability to connect airborne platforms with naval assets. The demonstration was conducted in coordination with the US Naval Air Systems Command, the Office of Naval Research, the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific, and BAE Systems.
The airborne gateway, equipped on Northrop’s MQ-4C Triton Flying Test Bed, shared fifth-generation sensor data with ground-based simulators. The gateway interacted with Triton’s radar and artificial intelligence capabilities to enhance situational awareness across platforms. Robust communication across platforms maximizes interoperability between land and sea forces by leveraging emerging technologies like AI and machine learning.
