Indonesia Seeks Foreign Lenders for UCAV Programmes

The Indonesian Armed Forces have been approved by the Ministry of Finance to procure uncrewed combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs) with foreign loans.

The Indonesian government is currently evaluating suitable lenders for such procurements. The Ministry of Defense (MoD) is poised to sign off on the formal contracts for UCAV procurement as part of 16 foreign loan programs. Provisions for UCAVs will be service-independent, inclusive of UCAV-mounted munitions.
