New York State Grows UAS Industry with GENIUS NY Accelerator

GENIUS NY - the world’s largest business accelerator for uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) - is now accepting applications for the seventh round of its year-long program.

Funded by Empire State Development, the New York-based accelerator will invest more than $3 million in five finalist companies, including a $1 million grand prize. GENIUS NY is interested in startups working on UAS, big data, robotics, remote sensing, and data analytics, among other areas. Applications are accepted from around the world. The accelerator makes this announcement at a time when uncrewed systems are burgeoning areas of interest for defense startups and governments globally.
