GA-ASI Selected to Build and Flight Test OBSS UAS

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems will manufacture and demonstrate test flights of the United States Air Force Research Laboratory’s unmanned Off-Board Sensing Station (OBSS) aircraft.

Building the OBSS will take place under the Air Force’s effort to develop several aircraft variants from a ‘common core chassis.’ Such aircraft will be part of broader Air Force initiatives to develop autonomous collaborative technologies and platforms.
