Italian-based defense company Leonardo signs two agreements with Israel: the first with the Israeli Innovation Authority and another with Ramot, a Tel Aviv-based technology transfer company.

Through the support of various Italian and Israeli agencies, the new partnerships will increase cooperation in scouting and developing startups in Israel by drawing from the country's existing venture capital ecosystem. Leonardo has a strategic interest in high-tech startups intersecting with defense, cybersecurity, and intelligence, among other areas.
