Defense Innovation Board launches survey to boost private partnerships

The Pentagon wants to hear from businesses about the hurdles they face in partnering with the US Department of Defense (DoD).

The Defense Innovation Board - an independent advisory group - is particularly interested in the challenges faced by ‘non-traditional’ companies working in critical technology areas. The survey they intend to release is part of a broader push by the DoD to transition commercial technologies into defense uses. AI-enabled systems, among others, have recently topped the list of desired dual-use DoD technologies.
