Western allies join US' experimental drone task force in Middle East

The recent achievement of full operational capability for the United States Navy’s Task Force 59 is made possible in part by allied support. France, the Netherlands, and Germany have each sent military attachés to work with the Task Force’s staff headquartered in Bahrain.
Task Force 59’s use of unmanned and artificially intelligent naval technology is part of the United States’ effort to both persuade its European allies into adopting an increased naval presence in Middle Eastern waters while also finding new, sublter ways of deterring Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
